Vocalist Neenah Taylor releases single,
"Where My Girlz At," on Mallia Records
(Baltimore, MD - PRURGENT) - Eleven-year old power-house vocalist, Neenah Taylor, recently released her first single, "Where My Girlz At," off of her debut album on Mallia Records and has also just finished eight sold-out theatrical shows of The Wiz, where she played Dorothy.
Though only 11 years-old Neenah has accomplished a lot. Her label is planning a Spring School Tour in Maryland, where Taylor will showcase along with a line-up of other outstanding young local artists, just like herself. She is also in production with producer/song writer Vaughan Mason, father of the hit single 'Roll Bounce," which was recently used in the movie of the same name, starring Bow Wow. Her label is also planning a Neenah Taylor Ball for young people of her age range, to expose them to a whole new world of etiquette and dress. This is all to promote her upcoming self-titled debut album and current single, "Where My Girlz At." In the past Neenah has performed as opening act for such artists as Trey Songz, Angela Bofill and Angie Stone. Young Taylor has won numerous competitions before signing to Mallia Records, such as the Atlantic Records Showcase Competition and the "Uplifting Minds II" national talent competition showcase. To promote her winning the competition or her opening for such major artists, she has appeared and performed on networks WJZ-TV, WBAL-TV and Fox 45 in Baltimore. Neenah's unbelievably powerful voice has also belted-out the "National Anthem" and "God Bless America" at the International Festival.
Never short on talent, this young lady is also a veteran actress (and a member of SAG and AFTRA), having appeared in a long list of television advertisements for Toy's R Us, Daimler Chrysler, Apple Computer and CarMax. She can be seen in print ads for Freddie Mac, The Baltimore Aquarium and Pampers. Her film appearances includes the 2006 Dolby Digitals film, Failure to Launch and the new ABC television feature Lincoln Heights. Taylor has also appeared in industry films for Kaiser Permanente and American Red Cross.
Neenah's pretty face has also graced the covers of Style Magazine and Prince William Parent Magazine. This busy young lady has also performed on cruise ships, such as Royal Caribbean Cruise.
