Anticipated by many, Nikki Beach launched its first of two clubs in Portugal at Marina de Portimao in the Tivoli Arade. This event was opened at Pearl Restaurant & Champaign Launch, designed as the first one in Miami with its trademark white décor and staff uniform. Pearl combines location of real beauty in Marina de Portimao with two old castles and lighthouses on the opposite coast, luxury yachts and high-quality Nikki service.
Thursday evening party celebration began with a glamorous, invitation only VIP party. Representatives of government, top media, Portuguese elite, celebrities like Marta Leite Castro, Nayma and Sandra Coias, Liberto Mealha, Roberto and Sergio Conceicao, international guests and partners started filling the venue at 7 p.m. wearing elegant white attire. Luis Onofre and João Rolo dressed VIP guests with a specially created line of shoes and clothing for this occasion.
Near the entrance, black & white photos showed Nikki’s history, celebrities, hot parties at Jet Set locations. Upstairs in Pearl, guests were treated with Moet & Chandon exclusive Champaign and wine. They could also enjoy the collection of cocktails and light delights of seafood sitting at one of the lined tables or couches at the balcony, admiring perfect view. Two big trays of sushi varieties made in shape of Nikki’s symbol -alcove looked really impressive & quite attractive to try. Lounge music, spectacular dancing show of Matika Guerrera, Marbella’s interactive performers entertained in Nikki style.
Later, special escort train gave VIPs a ride to join other guests at Nikki Pool where party continued. Huge screen with Nikki Beach worldwide videos welcomed guests. Two hours of complimentary welcome cocktails and international tasting delicacies by Executive Chef Brian Molloy, served by friendly wait staff - what can be better than to feel relaxed and ready to party? Nikki’s resident DJ Snezana accompanied by Florencio Cruz (saxophone) & Junio Munos (violin), kicked off the beach partygoers with energy of the coolest, sexiest house music, making people dance on the stage and in the sand.
To add to the excitement, exploding midnight fireworks attracted more newcomers that turned it to a really unforgettable event which lasted till 6 a.m. the next day.
Atmosphere of glamour, starry night sky, warm ocean breeze blowing together with original decorations & beautiful people around, gave everyone feelings of happiness and comfort. With smiley faces, list of new friends , a bit tired, but happy people left the beach, keeping best memories and promising repeat this experience the next party in Vilamoura on July 19 at Lake side or every single day again!
