Perimeter Publishing Group has signed crime fiction author C. Edward Bartlett to a book deal. The company's goal is to release reader/film friendly titles for mass market distribution.
The Midterms is the first book published in the PPG/Bartlett collaboration. The book is a gritty, smart read that has received favorable reviews.
Perimeter Publishing Group is actively meeting with Hollywood executives to determine if their product can be readily adapted to film, as well cooperate on budget and profitability forecasts. "The general consensus is that the book is readily adaptable", company spokesperson Al Hancock states. "The plot is attractive. A supremacist group founded by a spy guru pushes a political candidate to the forefront while a young California family deals with drugs and gang activity on their children's school campuses."
