Charitybuzz is an online charity auction organization that works with non-profit organizations to create buzz surrounding specific charities. They raise money for these organizations through both online auctions and live bidding events.
Charitybuzz is holding an auction in support of the Fourth Annual Chevy Chase Green School Auction which helps raise money for The Center for Environmental Education Online founded by Jayni and Chevy Chase. Proceeds from the auction will ultimately go towards providing in-service teachers with the environmental education materials and resources they need for their classroom. Bidders will have a chance to spend one day on the set with famous actress Cameron Diaz.
As a winner of four Golden Globes, Cameron Diaz has starred in blockbuster hits such as Shrek, Gangs of New York, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, In Her Shoes and The Holiday. Ms. Diaz also takes an active role in protecting the environment, partnering with Gwenyth Paltrow, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and the Environmental Media Association to put into action Act Green an organization devoted to conserving energy and reducing oil dependency.
