Here's To The Goodlife™ Pet Video Contest

Franklin, Tenn., October 1, 2007 – With more than 350 million pets in the United States1, a record number of people and their pets are experiencing the benefits of sharing time together. Cats, dogs and owners everywhere are invited to celebrate these special moments in the Here’s to The Goodlife™ pet video contest. Grammy award winner LeAnn Rimes is partnering with The Goodlife Recipe™ brand to find America’s best example of pets and people living the good life.
Does your Persian paw at your face to wake you up each day? Maybe you and your Poodle play piano together to relax after work? The Here’s to The Goodlife™ pet video contest celebrates relationships between people and pets through playing, cuddling, singing, dancing or just enjoying life together. We’re looking for special moments that show how well you and your cat or dog live life together. The way you do it is up to you, as long as the interaction makes you both happy.
“Pets make our lives better, happier, and owners like me enjoy bragging just as much as any pet parent,” LeAnn says. “My cats and dogs bring such joy and fun to my life and give me unwavering, unconditional love.”
It’s easy to participate! Share a glimpse of your life together in a short video (60 seconds or less) that shows how you and your pet celebrate your special relationship. Video entries demonstrating real moments will be collected now through October 15, 2007 and featured online at www.goodliferecipe.com where participants can view and vote for their favorites. Check out local entries from San Francisco, Austin, TX and Los Angeles.
At the close of the contest, six finalists win an all-expenses paid trip where a grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges including LeAnn Rimes. One lucky pair will win the chance to be featured in an upcoming The Goodlife Recipe™ brand commercial, $10,000 cash prize, a year’s supply of The Goodlife Recipe™ products to enjoy and a donation of a year’s supply of The Goodlife Recipe™ snacks and treats made in their name to their favorite pet therapy group. The runner up will receive $5,000, a professional photo shoot with their pet which may be used in future marketing materials, a year’s supply of The Goodlife Recipe™ products and a year’s supply of The Goodlife Recipe™ snacks and treats donated to their favorite pet therapy group.
