PAWS-ITIVE START’ FASHION SHOW - First Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser Models Fall Trends; Adoptable Pets for an All-Day Saturday Soirée

Scottsdale, Ariz., (October 24, 2007)—On Saturday, November 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Valley pet lovers and fashionistisa’s are coming together for a ‘furry’ fundraiser with the first annual Runway for a Paws-itive Start benefiting the Arizona Animal Rescue and Sanctuary (www.azars.org), a non-profit animal foster organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and placing healthy domestic animals in safe and loving homes.
Uncorked (www.uncorkedwinebar.com), The Unpretentious Wine Bar, and Monarch Services for Women (www.monarchservicesforwomen.com), a group devoted to helping motivated women through life transitions, present a fun, fashion filled day with trunk shows, runway shows and of course the opportunity to meet and adopt some of the furry friends from Arizona Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
Partnering with the Valley’s hottest local boutiques such as Brass Heart, Paris Paris, Objects Gallery, and Santiago Rose, guests will get to see fall trends modeled on the runway and have the exclusive preview at some must-have merchandise for the trunk show.
A hit DJ will be spinning the funky tunes and everyone in attendance will be well-fed with a delicious array of wine, beer and appetizers. The courtyard will be sprinkled with wine samplings from Uncorked, Alliance Beverage, Republic Beverage and Southern Wine and Sprits and Four Peaks Brewing Company will be providing the beer sampling. Catina Laredo, Carlos O’Briens, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, The Herb Box Catering and Red Bull are also dishing out tasty treats and refreshing beverages.
In addition to the rescue animal adoption, fashion previews and garden of food and drinks from some of the most talked-about Valley businesses, raffle drawings will take place every half hour and guests have the chance to win an array of gifts, including gift certificates from Jasper’s Peak Bistro and Tuscany Salon.
