The world's first Lost and Found Web Service is now online. RecoveryID generates uniques Recovery Ids to be used by customers and vendors to be placed on valuables.

DECA UNVEILS NEW DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIPS

Palm Coast, Florida USA, 12 November, 2007 – A groundbreaking innovation that seeks to reduce waste generated from lost property has gone live. Besides the common functionality as an asset tag system for personal use, RecoveryID can provide vendors with thousands of unique ids(recovery ids) to be issued with the products they are selling. Wouldn't it be nice to get back that expensive pair of sunglasses you lost in the mall or at the beach? Rewards are issued by RecoveryID and Finders can remain confidential.

This is the first of it's kind, a Global Lost and Found Web Service. It was created due to the simplicity of the design and the frustration one feels when something is lost. The common premise from all Lost and Found Systems is that “people are good”. Mark Mason creator says “This system is too easy NOT to exist!, and it is only a matter of time before RecoveryIDs on products becomes common place.”

This site is designed to be multilingual with the other languages besides English to follow.

This service is designed to be used a co branded product, where vendors add RecoveryIDs to their own products and will add an “IF FOUND” link on their web sites to redirect to RecoveryID.com for processing. Current co-branded sites are SillySticker.com, Lost-24.com, Biker-ID.com, Golfer-ID.com, Skater-ID.com and Traveler-ID.com Future sites to recognize Finders in development. Look for BloodyGoodBloke.com to go live soon.
