Iola, Wis., USA (Nov. 20, 2007) -- In just over six months as a fully operational coin collecting portal, NumisMaster.com, the coin pricing and news resource from Krause Publications, has proven to be a destination for enthusiasts worldwide.
Since the site officially launched in late April, visitors from 169 different countries have made their way to NumisMaster.com, according to the site’s analytics. Aside from English-speaking countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, other countries that have shown a particular interest in NumisMaster include Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, France, India, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Greece, and Hungary.
NumisMaster features three items of regular interest to coin collectors around the globe:
-International coin information, including photos, pricing, and other statistics, derived from the acclaimed Standard Catalog of World Coins line of price guides. These guides cover world coin values from 1600 to date, as well as unusual world coins.
-News from the editors of World Coin News, which has featured coverage of market trends and coin issues from around the world for more than 30 years.
-Blogs from world coin experts such as David Harper, Tom Michael, and Colin Bruce.
“It has been rewarding to see coin collectors from all corners of the globe visit NumisMaster to learn more about coins,” says NumisMaster director of online business Scott Tappa. “For instance, hundreds of visitors from China have, on average, remained on the site for more than 28 page views per visit. A similar number of visitors from Chile have remained on the site for more than 21 page views per visit on average.
