Four Northeast Florida charities will benefit from Palencia’s gracious Season of Giving 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

St. Augustine, Fla. – There’s a reason why ICI Homes was awarded the Good Neighbor Award by the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and Jacksonville Homebuyer Magazine.

Throughout the years, ICI Homes has honored a proud tradition of helping those in need. Together with the support of generous employees, management and ownership, ICI Homes has donated time, talent and treasure to hundreds of worthwhile charities, schools and civic organizations.

“The philosophy of giving back to the community is one that the company embraces and supports for itself and its employees, said Don Wilford, North Florida division president of ICI Homes. “It starts at the top with our founder Mori Hosseni, who is a great philanthropist.”

The Northeast Florida builder was recently recognized for its involvement with worthwhile community causes such as The Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Builders Care, Inc., Make a Wish Foundation, the Salvation Army, Partners in Education, Toys for Tots, daniel, Second Harvest Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.

Karen Sutherland, ICI Homes vice president said that every employee is involved in at least one, sometimes multiple, charitable functions per year. “The organizations are many and the hours dedicated by our employees makes me really proud,” Sutherland said.

ICI Homes’ most recent do-good efforts include hosting the 2007 Holiday Showhomes at Palencia.

Four Northeast Florida charities will benefit from Palencia’s gracious Season of Giving 2007. ICI Homes and the master planned community will donate food, clothing and financial contributions to Builder’s Care, Trinity Rescue Mission’s Women and Children’s Center, the St. Francis House and the Jacksonville Humane Society.

“It is our hope that the people who visit the Showhomes will give generously and from their hearts. The holidays are an especially tough time of the year to be in situations that make it difficult to not be able to provide for your loved one,” Sutherland said. “If every family that visit the Holiday Showhomes would pledge to donate time and/or money in 2008 to a charity, that would be the best reward for sponsoring the homes we could have.”

The luxurious Showhomes include four model homes from ICI’s European Collection, which consists of 244 ENERGY STAR rated homes featuring various European elevation options.

Phase one homes range from 2,400 to 3,944 square feet and begin in the low $500s. Spanish, Old World and Mediterranean influences can be found in each of the four models.

The Versailles is three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and includes a family room and study. It is 3,201 square feet and features a two-car garage.

The Portofino measures 2,460 square feet with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a three-car garage, family room and study.

The Castillo is 2,928 square feet with three bedrooms, two-a-half-baths, two-car garage and family room and bonus room.

The largest, and only two-story floor plan available in the first phase is the Milan, which totals 3,944 square feet. It features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a two-car garage, in addition to a study, family room and two-story loft.

More than 30 professional artists, interior designers and decorators from the area—each one donating their countless hours and hard work to help someone less fortunate—will lavishly decorate both the interior and exteriors of all four of the spacious model homes located at Bella Terra at Palencia.

Nestled among 2,350 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway off U.S. 1 between St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Palencia is designed for 2,350 residences featuring a variety of housing options by lifestyle and price from the $500’s to more than $4 million, including new innovative Village Center live/work units, cottages, villas, condominiums, single-family and pristine estate homes and lots.

Located within walking distance of Palencia Village, this new neighborhood with homes ranging from 2,400- to 3,944-square feet, introduces intricate architectural features including courtyard entryways, vaulted foyers, tiled roofs, wood and tile flooring and exterior balconies.

The doors to the Holiday Showhomes are open through Dec. 15. Viewing hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

In lieu of admission to the Holiday Showhomes, Palencia will collect unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. Other related events will be priced accordingly and all proceeds will benefit the above named charities.

For more information on the Holiday Showhomes, please call Palencia, (904) 810-0500.
