2007 Educational Estimates and 2012 Projections provide demographic variables for the current U.S. population and for 5-year projections of population educational trends.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Get the latest 2007 Educational Estimates and 2012 Projections with demographic variables for the current U.S. population and for 5-year projections of population educational trends now available from GeoLytics. This data set includes complete tables of educational attainment for the population over 25, broken out by race and by gender. This includes variables such as the number of adults with graduate degrees, college degrees, associates, high school completion, or GED, all the way down to no schooling at all. A second set of variables includes the population aged 3 and above who are in school. Answer questions such as the number of students in each grade and the number of students in public vs. private schools. These data include breakouts by race and gender as well.
The data from the educational estimates and projections are available in 5 geographies: states, counties, tracts, block groups, and zip codes. The data come as flat files (.csv) and can be used with most database and statistical software.
GeoLytics is also able to build custom data sets for estimates and projections. Examples of custom work include creating data for boundaries other than our standard ones (state, county, zip, tract, block group), creating new variables, or creating data for different time periods other than 2007/2012, either earlier years like 2001, 2002, 2003 and so forth, or projecting out other years such as 2008, 2009, 2010 or more. Call GeoLytics at 1-800-577-6717 to discuss the details for your specific project.
