Michael is a graduate from the filmmaking program at New York University and has written a variety of short stories, films and screenplays. His thesis film “The Case” garnered him critical acclaim. He also co-wrote and starred in the short film “A Subject of Color”. Forming his own production company, Archangel Pictures, Michael produced the indie feature “Me, Tommy and the Brothers” which he also wrote and directed. Michael currently resides in Albany, New York. Dark Obsessions is his first novel.

Dark Obsessions is a gritty, hard-edged crime/thriller...After being hired by a seductive Italian Countess to discreetly track down the missing daughter of a U.S. Senator; Brooklyn PI Nick Pompilio soon discovers that a seemingly simple missing persons case develops into something much more dangerous. Now, as Nick is obsessively determined to rescue the troubled young woman, he must confront the demons dredged up from his own dark past!
