Debt Settlement America Employees Spreading Holiday Joy Through the Gift of Giving

DSA employees donated over 700 food items to the North Texas Food Bank and over 200 clothing and toy items to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.

Debt Settlement America (DSA) founded in 2004 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas is making the season brighter for families and children across the North Texas area. Several weeks prior to the DSA Winter 2007 Charity Casino Event, DSA employees broke up into three teams and gathered donations for two praiseworthy charitable organizations, The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) and the North Texas Food Bank. This is the second time that DSA has teamed up with the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. This past August, DSA employees participated in a successful company wide school supply drive for DCAC.

We plan to make the school supply drive for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center an annual affair as well as the holiday food drive for the North Texas Food Bank and the holiday gift drive for DCAC annual commitments as well. The North Texas Food Bank provides food to those who are faced with the critical issue of hunger in the North Texas area. Last year they provided assistance for over 500,000 people. The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC served over 2,000 clients in 2006. DSA set an achievable goal with the combined charitable drives and surpassed that goal attaining a staggering 190% of their original target.
