The Lupus Alliance is honoring those volunteers who have gone above and beyond the call to help those with lupus.

On Sunday, April 27th, 2008 from noon to 4pm at the Melville Marriott, the Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate will be holding a Gala Brunch to raise funds and honor those who have helped the Alliance with their fight against lupus.
The Honorees this year are; Richard Safrath, Esq. and the McCarthy Foundation, Christine Donato of ButYouDontLookSick.com and the Miserandino Family, Dr. Robert Phillips of the Center for Coping in Hicksville, and Greg T and Z-100 radio station. Each of the honorees has helped the Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate further their cause to help those with lupus live better lives.
This year’s honorees have all generously volunteered their time and efforts, as well as contributed their own money and grants to help the Lupus Alliance fund their many programs. Without volunteers and dedicated supporters like these honorees, The Lupus Alliance would not be able to reach the people that need them the most, or contribute as much money as it does towards novel Lupus research.
The Gala should be a wonderful event featuring fantastic raffle baskets, a delicious brunch, live music, gift bags and more. Further details will be announced after the New Year.
Tickets are $60 per person, or a table of ten for $500. If you cannot attend the event but would like to help, you can purchase an ad in the Gala journal, or donate items for the raffle baskets and goodie bags. Journal ad prices range from $25-$1000. Several journal ad levels also include the posting of your company’s link and logo on the Alliance website.
