Provo, Utah (PRURGENT) September 21, 2007 -- A Provo, Utah, otolaryngology practice spent two frustrating years mastering the learning curve of its expensive Electronic Medical Record system before deciding to salvage the situation by purchasing a new product.

Seven exam rooms each have a workstation where physicians complete some of their dictation in addition to dictating in their offices. Peak is comprised of two physicians, two nurse practitioners, an audiologist, an allergy clinic and three medical assistants. All use ChartLogic extensively. The practice's three-person billing department uses ChartLogic to access their providers' notes in order to complete their coding.
