Jet Airways, India’s premier airline was awarded the prestigious first ever Loyalty Award 2008 for Customer and Brand loyalty in the ‘Commercial Airlines Sector (Domestic)’

January 30, 2008: Jet Airways, India’s premier airline was awarded the prestigious first ever Loyalty Award 2008 for Customer and Brand loyalty in the ‘Commercial Airlines Sector (Domestic)’. The awards were announced at a glittering ceremony at the Taj Land Ends, Mumbai on January 22, 2008. The award was received on behalf of the airline by Mr. Choo Poh Leong, Regional Vice President – Sales (India & SAARC), Jet Airways.
The first ever Loyalty Awards was conceived and managed by IndiaTimes Mindscape along with Savile Row (A Forbes Group Venture),based on a rigorous customer research.Consumers were approached with a questionnaire in the major cities of Mumbai,Delhi,Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.The final award winners were determined on the basis of customer responses only.
Commenting on Jet Airways’ achievement, Mr. Poh Leong said, “Jet Airways’ relentless focus on customer service has helped it emerge as India’s premier airline brand, besides winning loyal customers around the world. The first-ever Loyalty Awards were a part of the Loyalty Summit ’08 held on the 22nd and 23rd January,2008 at the Taj Lands End,Mumbai.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 76 aircraft, which includes 8 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 7 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 52 classic and next generation Boeing 737-400/700/800/900 aircraft and 9 modern ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. With an average fleet age of 4.37 years, the airline has one of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world. Jet Airways operates over 370 flights daily.
