FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 7 -- WooMe (www.woome.com), the recently launched live introductions platform, today announced that it has received a $3 million bridge round led by Mangrove and includes previous investors Atomico (founded by Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis), Klaus Hommels, and has added Oliver Jung to help assist with international expansion.

"WooMe is a completely new way for people to connect and hang out online and we are very pleased with the company's growth," said Mark Tluszcz of Mangrove, number 30 on the recently published Forbes Midas list. "The potential applications for WooMe's platform are endless and we're delighted to be a part of this success story."

From its beta launch less than three months ago, WooMe has demonstrated strong user traction by facilitating over 250,000 introductions in 20 countries.

"WooMe has developed a strong user base in only 10 weeks after the site launch and our investors want to continue supporting our traction," said Stephen Stokols, Founder and CEO of WooMe. "With this funding we can focus our efforts on improving the user experience, releasing key functionalities to our live introductions platform, and expanding our international presence where we are enjoying early success."
