Upcoming show at Crash Mansion for electro-rock band out of the UK, TEMPOSHARK on April 16th @10PM.

MARCH 18, 2008

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK - UK electronic rock act Temposhark celebrates the March 25 North American release of its critically acclaimed debut album The Invisible Line with a special live performance at Crash Mansion on Wednesday, April 16th.

A massive hit on London's Uber fashionable electro scene (Bjork, Placebo and Darren Hayes are notable fans), Temposhark creates a slick and sexy sound comprised of synthesised pop, underground electronica, angst rock and film score soundscapes. Add an unforgettable live show into the mix and you're looking at an act that brings the complete package.

Temposhark's debut album, The Invisible Line, was produced by Sean McGhee (Frou Frou / Kate Havnevik), with two tracks produced by Guy Sigsworth (Madonna / Björk). Notable collaborations include singer Imogen Heap, Youth from Killing Joke and virtuoso violinist Sophie Solomon. Fans of classic acts like Depeche Mode, New Order and Pet Shop Boys will enjoy swimming in Temposhark's similar currents, with highlights including "Joy," "Not That Big," and "It's Better To Have Loved" which enjoys Sigsworth's signature stamp.

More than just music, Temposhark is also viewed as an all-encompassing art project. Vocalist Rob Diament is a huge art aficionado and member of the London fashion scene. Having previously worked with UK street artist Banksy and other influential graffiti artists, Diament now avidly collects a number of artists work including Tracey Emin, Anne Hardy, Annie Kevans, Jessica Rankin, Julie Verhoeven, Stella Vine and Phillipa Horan. Other galleries Diament has developed relationships with includes White Cube (London), Thomas Dane (London), Maureen Paley (London). Lehmann Maupin (New York), Lorcan O'Neill (Rome) and The Project (New York/LA).
