The Blaque Wedding Day Expo April 3 - 5th 2009
The Blaque Wedding Day Expo is an exciting entry into the Multi-Cultural wedding market including three exciting days of events including a charitable ball titled the “Wear It Again Wedding Gown Gala”. This event the first of its kind in Chicago, gives the brides of yesterday the opportunity to wear their wedding gown again. Proceeds of this event will benefit breast cancer research, which we feel impacts us of all as women.
On both Saturday, April 4th and Sunday April 5th 2009, we will kick off a new day in wedding expo history in Chicago, by offering our brides and grooms seminars hosted by celebrity planners from Rich Bride Poor Bride and "Whose Wedding is It Anyway". the sessions include “Do It by Design”: Plan Your Wedding Day. And for the silent partner in wedding planning “the groom”, we are offering: Grown Men’s Stuff: You Proposed, She Said Yes, Now What!, which is a look at preparing for the wedding day and beyond, from the man’s perspective. We will be bringing in men from around the country to speak to grooms on issues that they can relate to.
We will definitely be showcasing our vendors, which will be a visual feast introducing our couples to be how beautiful and unique their own weddings can be.
