ASUS Gives Away Mobile Phone Insurance
Miss Piromporn Meeraleauk , product manager at ASUSTeK Computer (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a world’s leading provider of computers, communication, and consumer electronic products, revealed that “the company in cooperation with Bangkok Insurance Co., Ltd., has introduced super-cover mobile phone insurance that would create the new market segment in Thailand.”
“This new insurance package is part of ASUS’ policy to give its customer peace of mind when buying PDA phones by offering an insurance policy that covers all kind of unwelcome risks such as road accident, fire, explosive, flood, riot, shock, drop, and theft that has proven evident of premise break-in,” she said.
The terms of services cover two types of lost or damage: 1) Partial Lost, which customers can always have their PDA phones of under one year old repaired at the ASUS authorized service shops free of charge; and 2) Total Lost, which customers will receive compensate for stolen PDA phones of up to 80 per cent their prices.
“The cooperation with Bangkok Insurance in PDA phones insurance has created the whole new segment for insurance policy and PDA phone market in Thailand. This is to guarantee customers maximum satisfaction with advance product performance plus premium after sale services,” Miss Piromporn Meeraleauk added.
