May 07, 2008: Jet Airways, will now link Mumbai with Bangkok by a daily service effective Wednesday, May 7, 2008. This will be its third services to Bangkok from India.
Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline already operates daily services to Bangkok from Delhi and Kolkata respectively.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, Jet Airways, said, “Jet Airways’ services to Bangkok from Delhi and Kolkata have proved extremely popular with passengers. This combined with strong passenger demand for a daily service connecting Thailand’s capital city with the financial heart of India, lead us to believe that Jet Airways’ Mumbai-Bangkok flight will prove equally popular.”
Jet Airways’ flight 9W 62 (Mumbai-Bangkok) will depart Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0110 hrs and arrive at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 0650 hrs. On the return leg, Jet Airways’ flight 9W 61 (Bangkok-Mumbai) will depart Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 0840 hrs and arrive at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 1145 hrs.
