Utah composites manufacturer, Advanced Composites Inc. attains AS9100 certification.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, MAY 13, 2008: Advanced Composites, Inc.
(ACI) announced today that the company has received ISO 9001:2000 with AS9100:2004 Rev B certification. “ACI’s commitment is to provide high-performance composite structures which meet or exceed our customer’s requirements. AS9100 certification demonstrates this commitment throughout the entire organization,” said Randy Philpot, President of Advanced Composites, Inc.
The AS9100 standard was established by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant industry improvements in quality and safety, and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.
The registration was granted by Eagle Registrations Inc., an ANAB Accredited and IATF Recognized organization. Mitch Kerbs, Quality Manager at ACI said, “We chose EAGLE as our registration partner because they are known to provide high quality assessment and registration services, and they did this while helping us stay focused on achieving value from our quality systems.”
