Bible League's Radio Program "Word And Worship Weekly" is now heard in 250 markets across the US.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO—From Alaska to New York, radio listeners across the country have been tuning in faithfully to “Word and Worship Weekly” for more than a year. Bible League’s radio program has experienced tremendous growth and success over that time.

“Word and Worship Weekly,” hosted by veteran Christian radio personality and Bible League’s media specialist, Scott Thunder, is now in 250 markets. Launched on January 20, 2007, in an effort to fill a void in nationally-syndicated praise and worship radio programs, the program was specifically designed to edify, empower, and encourage listeners with God’s Word and modern worship songs.
“We praise God for the growth of the radio ministry, but more importantly we praise God for purpose of the show,” says Thunder. “It is intentionally designed not to entertain, but to minister to listeners with God’s Word and song.”
Each week, “Word and Worship Weekly” plays host to well known and emerging Christian artists and worship leaders. Past shows have featured interviews and Christian music from such artists as Travis Cottrell, Todd Agnew, Jars of Clay, and Sonic Flood. Future guests scheduled include Martha Munizzi, Salvador, Casting Crowns, and Jadon Lavik.

“A great deal of time and prayer is put into each ‘Word and Worship Weekly’ program,” says Thunder. “We want it to be more than just playing a song and quoting a Scripture verse. We hope the program will engage listeners, cause them to grow in their relationship with the Lord, and be a meaningful part of their week.”

Thunder has more than 25 years of Christian radio experience. He’s worked with Crosswalk.com, CCM Magazine, and was a consultant for Time-Life’s “Songs for Life” series. Syndication of “Word and Worship Weekly” is through GSF Media of Smyrna, Tenn.
