The Air Venturi Ram Air gas spring replaces the coiled metal spring traditionally used in spring-piston air rifles. A gas spring offers many benefits over metal springs, such as no spring fatigue (even if the gun is cocked for hours), no spring torque, less recoil, smoother shooting, smoother cocking, perfect functioning in cold weather and a longer life than metal springs.
