Nashville-based film and video production company, The AV Squad has signed an exclusive contract with one of the country's top tourism destinations. The AV Squad director, John Lloyd Miller is proud to announce that his company has signed for an unprecidented 12th year to create content for the City of Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism.

THE AV SQUAD SIGNS CONTRACT WITH PIGEON FORGE TOURISM
Nashville, TN, August 18, 2008 – The AV Squad is starting its 12th year filming in the dynamic tourism destination of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The AV Squad Director John Lloyd Miller, Producer Dee Butler and Marketing Director Mitchell Fox are proud of The AV Squad’s continuing successful relationship with this action-packed city on the occasion of their new contract.
Jam-packed with attractions and theaters, this small town nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains has become one of the top tourist destinations in the country. For twelve years The AV Squad has created a variety of products used for marketing to tour groups, individual visitors, potential businesses and general content that is used in online marketing as well as for use in television spots.
The AV Squad also oversees the creation of a multi-screen multimedia presentation that is shown in a specially designed theater in the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center. The video, like all other media The AV Squad creates for the City, is updated each year in conjunction with the Department of Tourism for the city.
Highlights from this past year’s productions include new attractions at Dollywood, new Extreme Rides along the Parkway, new Shows, new Theaters and new restaurants.
The 2008-2009 productions will include new attractions like the Daryl Waltrip Racing Experience and the recently completed, Bell Island. Commenting on the upcoming year, director John Lloyd Miller stated, “We are looking forward to another great year partnering with the City. We’d especially like to thank Sue Carr and Leon Downey at the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism for their continued support and encouragement.”
