“Learning & Career Plan” In association with Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA) & Vizag Information Technology Association (VITA)
Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG), Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA) & Vizag Information Technology Association (VITA) are proud to announce a one day seminar for faculty members and students of various JKC Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, 20th September 2008 at Kalavani Auditorium, Vishakapatnam Port stadium, Near NH - 5, Akkayyapalem junction, Vishakapatnam.
The theme of the seminar is "Learning & Career Plan" and to bring together experts from Govt., industry and academia on a common platform.
Objectives of the seminar:
• The seminar is planned for an interaction with the student community to expose them to the needs of the IT / ITeS industry and the companies they get employed with the stress on the current scenario of the market.
• The seminar is used to prepare them for a realistic approach to professional life / career and not get bogged down with the current happenings.
The main motive of the seminar is to act as an eye opener for students who want to take up a job in IT / ITes sector with a focus on the important activities he/she need to plan and start doing from right first year of Engg. or MCA
• Soft Skills, a student need to practice right from first year so that he can enhance confidence levels to face interview and to get a job.
• English Language Proficiency Skills, a student need to practice right from first year so that he can enhance confidence levels to face interview and to get a job in first attempt
• Aptitude Test: Clearing the aptitude test which is being conducted by any IT major as initial scrutiny.
• Face to Face Technical Interview: if students want to pass the first company face to face technical interview, what are the important activities he/she need to plan.
• Face to Face HR interview: if students want to pass the first company face to face HR interview, what are the important activities he/she need to plan.
• Updating self with current industry trends: The seminar also addressed, How a student can be employable always? What are the best practices for him/her to update with the current trends.
