XING AG appoints Thorsten Vespermann as Director Corporate Communications

Hamburg, October 6, 2008 – XING AG (ISIN: DE000XNG888), operator of XING – the leading network for business contacts in Europe – has appointed Thorsten Vespermann (42) to manage its Corporate Communications department with immediate effect.

I am very drawn by the prospect of getting involved in driving this exciting growth market forward,” says Thorsten Vespermann of his motivation for taking up his new post at XING AG.

In his new role, he will be managing all future corporate communication activities, as well as overseeing the continuing rise in the department’s international operations. Born in Hamburg, Mr. Verspermann has for the past seven years been responsible for public relations and global communication at Conergy AG, which operates in a total of 26 countries. Previous to this, he was Spokesperson for Time/system Management Organisation GmbH.
