Jim Garrahy’s Fudge Kitchen has launched a wholesale range of its delicious handmade fudge to the food trade for the first time.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

Jim Garrahy’s, has been making and selling what it proudly calls ‘the best fudge in the world’ in its own stores across the UK for twenty five years.

Every batch of fudge is freshly made by hand using traditional techniques and an authentic recipe dating back to 1830.

Now thanks to a breakthrough in product formulation, the shelf life of Jim Garrahy’s fudge has been extended from just a few days to three weeks, whilst maintaining all natural ingredients and the same great texture.

This means that Jim Garrahy’s fudge can now be sold by other food retailers for the first time, including confectioners, chocolate shops, delicatessens, coffee shops, farm shops and department stores.

Jim Garrahy’s fudge is freshly made using whipping cream instead of butter, which gives it a unique texture that’s far removed from the traditional image of hard cubes of ‘west country’ butter fudge. Instead, Jim Garrahy’s fudge is hand made in weighty slabs with an outer crust which gives way to a smooth creamy centre that literally melts in the mouth.

Because Jim Garrahy’s already has six regional manufacturing sites across the country, trade customers will also benefit from a product with unique provenance. Retailers can purchase and stock a regionally produced product that’s hand made with natural ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

A selection of ten best selling flavours of fudge are now available top the trade including old favourites like Traditional Toffee and Maple & Walnut as well as more unusual flavours like Strawberries & Cream, After Dinner Mint and Lemon Meringue.

The fudge can be sold by the slice as a self or gift purchase, in small twists with a coffee, as petit fours, as hotel turn-down gifts, or even as an ingredient in restaurant dishes or desserts.

Retailers selling Jim Garrahy’s fudge can also take advantage of small minimum order quantities, promotional materials, competitive prices and attractive margins of 60% or more.

Plus they’ll be amongst the UK’s first retailers in the UK to sell Jim Garrahy’s Fudge Kitchen – a name that’s become synonymous with delicious mouth watering fudge.

Jim Garrahy’s Fudge Kitchen can be contacted on 01303 864400, or at http://www.fudgekitchen.co.uk/trade
