HobbyThing.com is a new social hobby website launched this summer. The website is a social hobby network for people who would like to share their hobbies, interests and lifestyle with other hobby enthusiasts. Whether you're an amateur hobbyist, collector or craftsman this website is for you.

Most of us when asked about hobbies, will answer 'I do not have one'. But this is not true... Hobby is like a too big word for everyday interests and lifestyle. If you are passionate about something - it is you hobby. It does not have to be collecting stamps to say that you have a hobby. Working in your garden to make it look all nice and pretty is a hobby already; or experimenting with cooking to impress your loved ones.
Hobby is anything that makes you relax, happy and takes your mind away form everyday troubles...
This is why HobbyThing.com has people with all kinds of interests and hobbies: arts & crafts, cycling, gardening, making friends, photography, small and big ones – you name it!

We also understand how difficult it is for a new business to kick off. We would like to help! We want to give a chance to hobbyists, who put their first steps turning their passions into professions. Members are more then welcome to advertise their work in their profile for free; all they need to do is create a rich profile about their passion, which can include: photo albums, stories/ articles, videos and groups.

We have a quite substantial library of hobbies (and constantly growing) organised into Tags. By discovering the tags of their interests the members can also find others with similar passions, make friends and maybe get some advice on the subject too. To help our members with internal communications we introduced Hobbies' Groups. They can join any of the existing groups, create their own – according to their hobbies or simply do both and start interacting with other hobbyists.
