The show is devised around the MyConcert2009 concept. The programme offers an “à la carte” concert because Robert Lauri wants the audience to be able to decide the contents of his show.

Robert Lauri agelessly bestrides fashions and periods. Some say that he has impeccable international class.

On 21 April, the audience will be able to get an early taste of some of the titles of Robert Lauri’s new album planned for the summer of 2009.  Another part of the singer’s repertoire, with new musical expressions of existing lyrics.

The show is devised around the MyConcert2009 concept. The programme offers an “à la carte” concert because Robert Lauri wants the audience to be able to decide the contents of his show. His fans, the lovers of his songs, choose their favourite titles by completing an automated form on the singer’s official website.

An organised luxury coach trip is available for Belgian fans for their journey to the concert in Paris. His audience will travel in the hope of seeing the singer on Belgian soil in the not too distant future. The singer’s official website gives more precise details about this combined “journey/concert” package.

The musician’s latest album is arousing considerable international interest, as are his film music projects. The concept for his 2009 tour is following the same trend. After the concert in Paris, Robert Lauri will be touring in several cities in France.

For the singer, 2008 was marked by the implementation of some large-scale projects.

In 2008, Robert Lauri released several albums that are being marketed by one of the great American distributors via the major websites of the world.

The various titles of the “liberty” album each propose a distinct musical universe, punctuated with profound, sensitive lyrics, with innovative arrangements and many different rhythms. The liberty project is the fruit of the joint efforts of Franck Lupo in New York and Alain Pype, an eminent French sound engineer, Pierre Cherez, an extraordinary guitarist, François Causse, an excellent drummer, and of Robert Lauri himself. The lyricists who have worked on this project are Chantal Allon, Claudine Marousek-Dornhakl and Robert Lauri’s son, Jessy, JNB. These lyricists have superbly conveyed the various atmospheres by their talents and their magical words.

Two compilations with new songs and the timeless “If I die by chance” and “I still believe in it” were also released in 2008.

A biography on his musical career, Spotlight on Robert Lauri, was published in the Publibook Editions in Paris, author Linda Adnil.

More than 16,000,000 visitors have discovered the Liberty album’s videos clips on the Internet. The audience has sent Robert Lauri their encouraging comments. Sylvia Ganancia, painter, sculptor and producer of the videos, has sublimely conveyed the musical atmospheres via her creations of innovative images.

Tickets are available at the usual points of sale and also in other countries such as Belgium and Switzerland.
