Joseph Perez, two-time U.S. Paralympic Champion, has found Sotmary's newly-published memoir "Living on the Verge of Insanity" about taking care of her long-time partner with Alzheimer's disease, invaluable to his own personal journey. Having been the primary caregiver for his wife Angie, who eventually succumbed to breast cancer, he was left with many unanswered questions once she passed on.

For many years he has been seeking a way to incorporate his intense caregiving experience into his life almost the way soldiers try to get back to normal after their combat experience.

Joe says, "This book finally gave me the ability to understand my experience and put it to rest. I now can appreciate how I handled everything and not feel so angry or guilty. It's amazing how this little book could do what no therapist has been able to help me come to terms with. This has finally helped me heal."

The book is available through major bookselling outlets, or directly online through The National Networker at http://christinesotmary.blogspot.com/
