Blue Mountain Lodges Announces Launch of “Free Chalet” Accommodation for Canadian Forces

Blue Mountain Lodges Collingwood, Ontario is offering free chalet accommodation to the Canadian Defense Personnel as a way to acknowledge, appreciate and reward their services to the nation

Blue Mountain Lodges Collingwood, Ontario, has announced the launch of free “chalet accommodation” for Canadian Defense Personnel and their families in Ontario's “nature rich” areas of Collingwood Blue Mountain region. Titled “Chalets for the CF” the holiday package features free vacation accommodation to the CF personnel who have suffered loss or whose CF member has been injured or are currently deployed in the armed forces.

This vacation holiday package in the Collingwood region scheduled to run throughout the remainder of 2009 has been crafted as a way to acknowledge, appreciate and reward the defense personnel for their service to the nation.
The package is to run in three phases: the first phase features three free nights accommodation from March 2009 to June 30, 2009 in one of Blue Mountain Lodge’s chalets in Collingwood. The second phase starting July 1 and ending on September 10, will offer three free nights mid week (Sunday to Thursday) chalet accommodation. The final phase of the “Chalets for the CF” program will start on September 15, 2009 and end on December 15, 2009. All bookings for accommodation at the chalets in Collingwood would be subject to room availability during the period.

The chalets offered as free accommodation are 3 to 8 bed rooms and range from 4000 sq feet to 7000 sq feet. These come with all modern day amenities. Beautiful views, TV, VCR, DVD, queen beds, hot tubs, air conditioning, indoor and outdoor pools, washer/dryers, fitness centres, modern kitchens and more!
