New Video Production Studio Space Available In South End

Charlotte, N.C. - Local video production studio house, South End Studios, offers a wide range of possibilities with newly renovated space that is available for rental. Located in Historic South End, it features 5,000 square feet of production space, equipped with all the necessities for a professional video production.

There are multiple studios on-site to meet your needs. Choices include a green screen studio, casting studio, sound recording studio and a warehouse studio for larger productions. Featured amenities consist of an oversized green screen, separate control room (overlooking set), private on-set dressing rooms, set/prep area and a private studio entrance. Equipment rental is also available.

One of the unique aspects of the studio is its oversized green screen stage with two walls and a floor. “The advantages of shooting on a green screen are appealing to many clients. It allows for cost savings and the creation of limitless post-production opportunities,” said President Scott Harrington. When something is filmed in front of a green screen or cyc wall, the green background can be swapped out for essentially any desired background.

The warehouse studio with a drive-in stage has proven especially appealing to larger productions. The studio is big enough to accommodate full size vehicles and large set designs. The first week renovation was complete, South End Studios received inquiries from film/tv production houses in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago interested in the warehouse space.
