DigiCore has teamed up with Garmin to develop integrated vehicle tracking and satellite navigation tools that will help fleet operators to better manage mobile resources. Under the global agreement, DigiCore has become an Authorised Garmin Partner for Fleet Management Solutions, gaining access to a leading range of portable navigation devices.
Working in partnership, DigiCore has interfaced its C-track vehicle tracking technology with Garmin devices to provide a flexible and cost-effective mobile data terminal. These in-vehicle tools enable drivers to access real-time navigation, messaging and job dispatch information.
DigiCore will also utilise the new link to support its C-track Workflow and C-track Job-Go tools, which are designed to enable businesses to monitor resource availability and manage the work allocation process. The portable navigation devices will offer two-way driver communication via text messaging to provide job details and destination updates.
