C-Track system is providing monitoring of 13 vehicles

ERH Communications Ltd (ERHC), a leading specialist contractor providing services to the highways industry, has selected DigiCore's C-track system to provide a sophisticated vehicle tracking solution for a Technology Maintenance Contract covering the whole of Wales. Under the agreement, C-track will be fitted on 13 vans operated by mobile engineers that undertake maintenance and fault repair activities associated with roadside and tunnel communications.
C-track will enable ERHC to monitor the performance of mobile assets and employees to ensure the company meets agreed service levels with their client. Furthermore, it will help ERHC to manage maintenance activities, whilst responding to emergencies by identifying the nearest engineer to an incident in order to meet the Client's specified response times.
The mobile maintenance engineers will also be equipped with handheld computers, so ERHC can monitor resource availability and better manage the work allocation process. Two-way communication between office-based operations personnel and engineers in the field, will allow critical data to be sent in real-time including job status and verification of completed work. The handheld computers will also incorporate panic alarms for added lone worker protection.
