West Coast Aerial Photography chosen two consecutive years as Breeders' Cup aerial photographer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

West Coast Aerial Photography, Inc., today announced that it has been selected as the official aerial photographer for the 2009 Breeders' Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Race Track.

Known nationally and internationally for unique aerial images, West Coast Aerial Photography is no novice to photographing sporting events. In 2008, West Coast Aerial Photography President Mark Holtzman, captured both the 50th Anniversary Dodgers game at the LA Memorial Coliseum, now featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the 2008 Breeders' Cup World Championship race.

Mr. Holtzman also photographed the 2009 Rose Bowl B-2 Flyover, which was featured as a two-page spread in Sports Illustrated and has received over 115,000 views on Airliners.net, which claims to be the largest and most visited aviation interest site on the internet.

Since it's inception in 1982, the Breeders' Cup has been seen as the end-of-the-season championship race for the Thoroughbred racing community. Each Breeder's Cup race ranges in value from $500,000 to $5,000,000, attracting world-wide recognition and competition.

"In 2009, the Breeders' Cup World Championships returns for a second-straight year to California where it all began in 1984," explains the Breeder's Cup official website. "For the fourth time, the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita will host and the expansion of the two-day event (November 6th and 7th) with 14 total races worth $25.5 million."

The popularity of the Breeders' Cup brings additional security requirements for those involved in the event. "I was a little nervous when I heard I needed to get a background check from the FBI," says Mr. Holtzman. "But I was hired again this year, so I guess my record is clean."
