FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT
Austin, Texas – October 20th, 2009 -- Even during tougher economic times there is no shortage of T.V. viewers wanting to watch home buyers on the hunt for fine homes. HGTV’s “House Hunters” continues to be it’s highest rated show with over 2 million viewers each week. One of their favorite areas of the nation to film is Austin, Texas. Sarah Allison, one of the shows producers explained, “We love shooting in Austin – it is just very scenic and friendly as well as incredibly affordable. Our film crews just love Austin and having a show featuring one of Austin Top Realtors searching for his own home really makes for a good storyline.”
Real estate expert Kenn Renner explains “The first show we filmed with House Hunters featured me helping a couple of school teachers find their move up home. They looked in the golf course communities of Teravista in Round Rock and Falcon Pointe in Pflugerville as well as a home in Forest Oaks and the second show was actually my own family’s hunt for a custom dream home near Lake Travis” In regards to the actual shooting of the show Kenn said, “Filming this show was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about producing video. It was an incredible experience, especially the fact that we were able to include our family & friends. Even our golden retriever – “Angel” appeared in many of the scenes. I was amazed at how thorough and lengthy the filming process was for HGTV. We filmed every single room and each scene was filmed at least two times. Filming just one home took an entire day! Our feet were very tired to say the least.”
Kenn encourages home buyers that want to appear on HGTV’s House Hunters to contact him because the show’s producers have invited him to be on future shows. “Being on House Hunters is not only a lot of fun but it documents the process of finding your next home that you can share with your friends, family. It is a great experience and I look forward to doing more shows.”
