Learn how to be a husky musher in Finland or a gaucho in Argentina on one of the 13 new trips launched by The Adventure Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

New for this year is the introduction of no local payments on arrival in each destination. This has come from the feedback customers have given on return from their trips in 2008/2009. The headline price is the full price customers pay and any optional extras have been clearly listed on each trip page. This makes it easier for customers to understand the price of their holiday.

Below is just a selection of new trips that have been added to the portfolio this year:

Finnish Dogsledding Week – This 8-day trip will give travellers the opportunity to be a traditional husky ‘musher’. During the week travellers will learn how to harness, feed and look after the own team of huskies before starting a five-day cabin-to-cabin dogsled expedition. The final day of the trip can be spent doing a number of optional winter activities including a reindeer safari, snowshoe hiking in Oulanka National Park or snowmobiling. Prices start from £1,969 per person.

Gastronomy & Gauchos – this is an exciting 13-day coast-to-coast trip across Chile and Argentina. This all-encompassing trip includes time exploring the fashionable Santiago, wine tasting in Mendoza and Maipo Valley, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Sit and historic port of Valparaiso, cookery lessons in an Argentine kitchen and the opportunity to learn traditional methods and two days living like a gaucho on a historical estancia (ranch) in Las Pampas. Prices start from £2,299 per person.

Jewels of the Nile - A 10-day Adventure Collection trip. The itinerary includes all of the highlights of Egypt including Cairo and the Pyramids, Luxor with the opportunity to enjoy the optional hot air balloon ride, the Red Sea and Aswan. In Aswan, holidaymakers will board a luxury Felucca boat and embark on a 3-day cruise on the Nile. Prices start from £1,529 per person.

India Explorer - On this all-encompassing trip 14-day trip travellers will explore both Northern and Southern India. The itinerary includes a visit to the famous Taj Mahal, a tiger safari in the Ranthambore National Park, a houseboat cruise through the Malabar backwaters. Along with time to explore the ‘pink city’ of Jaipur and relax on the golden beaches at Kovalam. Prices start from £1,879 per person.

Sinai Discovered – This is an ideal 8-day trip for those travellers who want to combine activities, culture and relaxation. Based in the seaside village of Dahab, the trip encompasses the best Sinai has to offer – desert, mountains, canyons and the Red Sea. During the week travellers can climb the historic Mount Sinai, snorkel and dive in the Red Sea and explore the desert by 4WD, on foot or by camel. Prices start from £849 per person.

Booking Incentives

The Adventure Company is offering an early booking discount of £50 per person to the first 100 people who book before December 20th 2009 on all new trips and a selection of others, which include; Empire of the Inca, Classic Kenyan Safari, India Explorer and On The Everest Trail.
