The sterile Emergency Bandage combines a non-adherent dressing with a uniquely designed high compression bandage for quick and effective control of severe wounds. The Emergency Bandage is ideal for first aid and trauma kits, and emergency rooms.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Serious wounds in emergency situations require fast, effective, and easy-to-administer treatment. For the first responder with a patient who is hemorrhaging at a rapid pace, the Emergency Bandage is the perfect choice.

The individually wrapped, sterile Emergency Bandage is an easy-to-apply combination of non-adherent, high absorbency dressing and elastic compression wrap, with a unique, patented Direct Pressure Applicator. The Direct Pressure Applicator, a plastic device attached to the compression wrap, has been proven to provide 60% more pressure than common bandages. This is critical for stopping heavy bleeding quickly and efficiently, saving lives and freeing medical personnel for other vital tasks. Instructions are printed on the back of the bandage itself for convenience in stressful, live-saving situations. Closure of the bandage is accomplished by the Quick Closure Bar clip, which are attached to the end of the bandage.

Developed for the military, the Emergency Bandage is ideal for use by fire fighters, police, EMS personnel and emergency room personnel.

The Emergency Bandage is a great choice for hard-to-wrap areas, and is so versatile it can be used as a tourniquet or sling. The Emergency Bandage is also 100% latex-free.

The all-in-one combination of sterile dressing, bandage and compression tool not only make the Emergency Bandage a first choice because of speed and ease of use, but also make it a very economical option compared to purchasing these components separately. Three sizes (with proportionally sized non-adherent dressings attached to the bandages) are available to fit almost any need: 4” wide, 6” wide, and the 8” wide Abdominal Bandage, which effectively controls bleeding of wounds on the torso.
