The Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) Program at Medgar Evers College, CUNY will host Open Houses for the Brooklyn community on January 20 and 21, 2010. According to ACE Director Jonathan Bissell, “There are still many jobs available in Health Care, and we have a number of great programs to assist individuals seeking to enter this field, such as Professional Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, EKG, Physical Therapy Aide, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Assistant, CASAC, Healthcare Interpreter, Infection Control, and Grant Writing for Health Care Professionals.”
“We also have great offerings in Computer Technology, Business, Education, and Legal & Criminal Justice,” continued Bissell. “These include CCNA-Cisco, Microsoft Computer Applications, Web Design and Graphic Design, Construction Management, Non-Profit Law, Finding Corporate Sponsors for Non-Profit Organizations, Entrepreneurship, OSHA, Online Publishing, Child Development Associate, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Security Guard Training, Paralegal, and Criminal Justice.
