Wide Collection of Business, Funding, Educational and Governmental Opportunities Available

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / PRURGENT

EngEx 2010 will be all about creating opportunities for businesses, researchers, non-profits and governmental agencies seeking to make a global difference in the energy, water, transportation and environmental industry sectors.

“We are bringing together the government agencies to create opportunities through domestic and international export, procurement, and access to government land and water resources,” said Kausain Shaikh, Founder of EngEx 2010. “These opportunities will be focused on the energy, water, infrastructure and environmental sectors.”

EngEx 2010, taking place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 29 – 31, will be three days of innovation, creativity, business negotiation, planning, contract development and plenty of networking for some of the most talented individuals working on the next stage of emerging innovative technology. The conference will also provide keynote addresses by government agencies, venture capitalists, large corporations, and national green technology leaders providing information on funding opportunities along with a career fair.

Many governmental agencies, such as the Environmental Protection Agency; the Department of Energy; the Bureau of Land Management; the Small Business Administration; the Department of Commerce and even the International Trade Administration at the World Bank Group and EXIM Bank will be on hand to fuel exports, as well as domestic and international procurement.

“The government sector will be well represented because of the critical impact EngEx 2010 will create towards global recovery and growth,” Shaikh said. “The energy and water sectors will be vital over the next decade, especially in the developing countries.”

Along with the networking opportunities with many professional agencies, EngEx 2010 will also focus on several different topics to help industry experts and professionals leverage international growth to expand their personal and business opportunities. Among the many topics and educational sessions are:

•Learning to get government contracts with the Small Business Administration
•Acquiring information about Department of Transportation infrastructure project funding
•Securing rights to federal lands with the Bureau of Land Management
•Leveraging export consulting and engineering services with the World Bank
•Meeting with top U.S. banks on hand to discuss small business loans
•Networking with hundreds of utility and municipality decision makers
•Strategizing on how to properly write a SBA, SBIR & STTR proposal
•Obtaining a SBA Small Business Innovation Research Grant

As well as plenty of special topic meetings on renewable energy; the electric grid; cloud seeding; desalination; wastewater treatment; fuel infrastructure; sustainable planning; carbon storage and even carbon reuse technologies.

Registration for the conference is now available online at www.engexpo.com.

More than 250 exhibitors are also expected at the event and a limited amount of exhibit space is still available. To request more information about securing an exhibit space, please visit www.engexpo.com.
