Costa Mesa, CA - Martin Bouma of Keller Williams Realty in Ann Arbor, MI participated in an intensive, three day Leadership course here, learning with a select group of REALTORS how to become true leaders, empowering their teams and clients around them to reach their personal best.
The Bouma Group, who already ranks substantially above the average real estate agent, currently helps over 200 clients move each year and has been #1 in their marketplace for number of homes sold for the past 5 years. They are also in the Top 10 of Keller Williams agents nationally out of more than 72,000. The typical agent in the United States averages less than 12 transactions, buyers and sellers, per year.
According to Bouma, "We are very focused on bringing the best results to our clients, and that starts at leadership and permeates throughout our team."
Bouma learned principles, strategies, systems, and techniques for superior service, effective time management, and driving for results. Program content also emphasized the importance of being a model for change.
The program was presented as part of Howard Brinton's STAR POWER University, the real estate industry's only University-level series of intensive, comprehensive training programs. There are many events that address a broad spectrum of issues, but only STAR POWER offers a series of sharply-focused, three-day programs for specific aspects of the business, from team building and systems implementation to buyer specialization and business operations.
The course was taught by Brinton's cadre of STARS... all top producers, whose annual production averages $43 million and over 200 families helped each year.
According to Brinton, participants in these events are part of an elite group of agents. "The quality of the learning experience and the depth of the practical knowledge and skills acquired by participants is unparalleled."
Brinton claims it is rare in any industry, and real estate is no exception, to find this level of commitment to clients and employees. "Bouma and his team have demonstrated a deep commitment to better serve their clients. Their dedication is evidenced in their investment in this course, and the substantial expense involved to be here. Bouma and his peers are something special, and the clients and employees who are served by them are fortunate indeed," he said.
