FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Palm Springs, CA - October 3. The 2015 Smart Water Summit (SWS) in cooperation with Zpryme announced Smart Earth Technologies as the “Best Smart Water Product or Solution” award winner at SWS 2015 held September 20-22, 2015 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa.
Smart Water Summit 2015 had forty-three participating smart water technology vendors competing in three award categories (BEST SMART WATER SOLUTION, SMART WATER VENDOR TO WATCH & BEST OVERALL BOARDROOM PRESENTATION). Awards were voted on by the one hundred plus utility executives in attendance representing water utilities form across North America.
Smart Earth Technologies wonn the 2015 SWS Best Smart Grid Product or Solution award. Smart Earth Technologies (SET) designs and manufactures an advanced wireless water valve that enables water utilities to avoid expensive truck rolls associated with water disconnects and connects. Using cellular and cloud software solutions, the SETflow water valve platform saves utilities time and money by offering the technology as an optional service that allows utilities to pay-as-they-turn, or as a small monthly service fee, and thus avoiding any upfront costs or risks associated with new technology purchases. The top three vendors nominated for the Best Smart Water Product or Solution award were Smart Earth Technologies, Master Meter and Specific Energy.
The Smart Grid Summits (SGS) consist of four annual utility business development events called the Municipal Smart Grid Summit (MSGS), the Smart Water Summit (SWS), the Rural Smart Grid Summit (RSGS) and the Gas Utility Summit (GUS). As exclusive and invitation only events, the SGS produce private boardroom format events that offer participating technology vendors access to the executive leadership of North America’s public power, rural electric cooperative, gas and water utilities.
