The School of Rock music program continues to drum to its own beat with its latest location in Champion Forest. The franchise sets itself apart from other institutions in that it emboldens students to rock out with and support their peers in their musical journeys. Taking the focus off the individual and creating a vibrant team dynamic allows students to enjoy a unique, extremely passionate and motivating environment in which to learn. This team-centric atmosphere makes School of Rock a fun and engaging place to practice and encourages kids to embrace the learning process. For over 15 years, this method of teaching has led to the concept’s growth in over 160 schools in nine countries.
“Every student receives remarkable benefits- both musically and personally- from the School of Rock curriculum. We are dedicated to helping our students attain the invaluable skills that come with successfully learning how to play an instrument,” said School of Rock CEO, Dzana Homan. “As a result of our collaborative environment and inspirational instructors, we have the amazing opportunity to watch our students excel and surpass their goals each day at School of Rock. We are extremely proud of our program and can’t wait to see the talent at our Champion Forest location.”
“After learning how to play guitar at a young age, I soon thereafter began performing in front of large audiences. Once I played on stage for the first time, my passion for music skyrocketed and I was hooked. When I discovered a similar performance-based approach practiced at School of Rock as the one I grew up with, I immediately knew this was an organization I needed to be a part of,” said School of Rock Champion Forest General Manager, Marc Reczek. “I am thrilled to be bringing such a phenomenal program to our community. With the expertise of fantastic instructors, including Johnny Solinger from the band Skid Row as our lead vocal instructor, I am confident that our students will have every opportunity to reach their fullest potential!”
