Children’s Charities to Host “Designing for a Difference” Clarity Farm Showcase Home and Tour Event on April 19-23, 2017

Event will benefit all-inclusive play park project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Children’s Charities will be hosting its Designing for a Difference event on April 19-23, 2017. The annual event focuses on funding one or two major projects each year. In 2017, the beneficiaries will be an all-inclusive play park project in the City of Milton. Crowds from across the state will visit the Clarity Farm Showcase Home and Tour with a goal to help fund equipment, programs and services to benefit community children. The home’s architect is Tim Bryan with Bryan Residential Planning, the builder is Jason Cole with Cole Constructions and the designer and decorator is Pacita Wilson with Pineapple Park.

“Children’s Charities was born out of a desire to give back to the community,” said Amanda White, co-founder of Children’s Charities. “To date, we’ve been able to raise more than $500,000 to make a difference in children’s lives. And, this year’s showcase home and tour event promises to be the most exciting yet.”

The Clarity Farm Showcase Home and Tour tickets costs $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The hours are:
● Thursday, April 20: 10am-6pm
● Friday, April 21: 10am-6pm
● Saturday, April 22: 10am-8pm
● Sunday, April 23: 1pm-6pm
There is also a VIP Southern Soiree, which includes a private tour, gourmet tasting and cocktails on Wednesday, April 19 at 6:30pm. This very limited-ticket event costs $250.

Founded by Amanda White and Lauren Holmes, Children’s Charities, Inc. is based in Milton and helps fund programs that benefit children with special needs in North Fulton and South Forsyth County. Since 2012, Children's Charities has donated more than $500,000 to purchase an emergency transport vehicle, eye tracking devices for the early detection of Autism, cell phone charging stations in urgent care centers around the state, and four state-of-the-art vein viewers for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Children's Charities has also developed an Equine Summer Camp for kids with Autism, provided Thanksgiving dinners to needy families, sponsored lunches for the mentoring program at Independence High School and sponsored Cure Childhood Cancer.
