2016 Smart Water Summit Award Winners Announcement

Palm Beach, FL. – September 15th, 2016. The 2016 Smart Water Summit (SWS), in cooperation with Zpryme announces the award-winning vendor partners at the sixth annual SWS held September 7-9, 2016 at the PGA National Resort & Spa.

The 2016 Smart Water Summit had thirty-nine participating vendor partners competing for three award categories (BEST SMART WATER SOLUTION, SMART WATER VENDOR TO WATCH & BEST OVERALL BOARDROOM PRESENTATION). These awards are voted on by the ninety plus utility executives in attendance representing water utilities from across North America.

Colin Martin, Smart Grid Summits SVP of Sales & Vendor Participation said, "These award categories have become extremely competitive over the years, compelling our participating vendor partners to engage with the hosted utility executive audience in an extraordinary way, not common in the event industry”.

Mueller Water Products won the 2016 SWS Best Smart Water Product or Solution award. The top three vendors nominated for the Best Smart Water Product or Solution award were Smart Earth Technologies, Master Meter, and Mueller Water Products.

Smart Earth Technologies won the 2016 SWS Vendor To Watch award. The top three vendors nominated for being the best up-and-coming vendor with the most innovative Smart Water Summit solution were Capstone Metering, Sigfox and Smart Earth Technologies.

The Smart Grid Summits (SGS) consist of three annual utility business development summits called the Municipal Smart Grid Summit (MSGS), the Smart Water Summit (SWS) and the Rural Smart Grid Summit (RSGS). As exclusive and invitation only summits, the SGS produce private boardroom format summits that offer participating technology vendors access to the executive leadership of North America’s public power, rural electric cooperative and water utilities.
