FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The 2016 Rural Smart Grid Summit had fifty participating Rural Smart Grid Summit technology vendors competing in three award categories (BEST RURAL SMART GRID SUMMIT SOLUTION, RURAL SMART GRID SUMMIT VENDOR TO WATCH & BEST OVERALL BOARDROOM PRESENTATION). Awards are voted on by the ninety plus utility executives in attendance representing electric cooperative utilities from across North America.
GridCure wins the 2016 RSGS Vendor To Watch award. GridCure provides software-as-a-service predictive analytics for electrical utilities. GridCure’s platform translate complex data problems into simple solutions by securely aggregating disparate data streams, performing multilayered big data analytics, and recommending real-time actionable insights. Analytical modules hosted on the platform help utilities manage their energy more efficiently, improve asset health and reliability, incorporate distributed energy resources, and make better operational and financial decisions. The top three vendors nominated for being the best up-and-coming vendor to watch, with the most innovative Rural Smart Grid Summit solution were Pulse Broadband, GridCure and in2lytics.
The Smart Grid Summits (SGS) consist of three annual utility business development summits called the Municipal Smart Grid Summit (MSGS), the Smart Water Summit (SWS) and the Rural Smart Grid Summit (RSGS). As exclusive and invitation only summits, the SGS produce private boardroom format summits that offer participating technology vendors access to the executive leadership of North America’s public power, rural electric cooperative and water utilities.
