Secant Healthcare an industry leading healthcare data migration company celebrates its 7th anniversary.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL – December 6, 2016 – Earlier this year, Secant Healthcare celebrated seven years of implementing effective data migration and healing solutions that run in conjunction with daily healthcare IT operations. When initially founded, Secant Healthcare stood on the pillar of data migration, but has since diversified into media migration and much more.
“We look to deliver end-to-end solutions that do not burden an IT staff,” said Secant Healthcare co-founder Marwan Baya. “Since our initial beginning, we have grown immensely but still maintain efficient and accurate service to our clients.”
Demand for data migration solutions continue to grow, and as partner to many IT providers, such as GE Healthcare, Secant Healthcare is poised for continued growth. “GE Healthcare only allows select companies to become Direct Partners, and we are pleased to be working with them to further our efforts in healthcare data migration and beyond,” said Baya. “With our combined efforts, the hope is to further diversify and expedite our growth trajectory.”
In addition to their already well-established pacs data migration programs, Secant Healthcare has developed proprietary software for data healing. Secant Healthcare has also created a Client Dashboard, providing end users with a direct view of their data migration status.
“Secant Healthcare always strives to minimize the client involvement in the migration, which is why the hire us,” said Baya. “There is no sense in hiring a migration company if the hospital or clinical staff is constantly working on the migration.” The dashboard provides Secant Healthcare clients quick insight into the progress and status of the migration. The enhanced reporting and graphical progress indicator aims to satisfy all the major project stakeholders. Secant Healthcare also seeks to complete the integration of its Imaging Object Change Management (IOCM) engine and maintain consistency throughout all imaging in PACS.
“As we move into our eighth year, we are looking to expand our staff and our client base through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions,” said Tim Rogers, Secant Healthcare’s Chief Financial Officer. “Our goals for this year include expanding our footprint, strengthening our financial position, and continuing to be recognized as the leader in our field.”
Secant Healthcare also plans to reach into XDS cross-document sharing and actively seek broader image management acquisitions. “We are proud of our accomplishments thus far and we look forward to the advancements that are planned for our next steps in expansion,” said Baya.
Secant Healthcare has delivered solutions for more than 100 hospitals including Catholic Healthcare West, Northwell Health, NorthShore University HealthSystems, and The Mount Sinai Hospital, and has doubled their staff, with several new hires just this year. The Secant Healthcare team is looking towards a bright future for the DICOM data migration company. “Healthcare IT and data management are at a crucial point in the overall picture of patient centric care,” said Baya. “Because of this, we are working hard to be at the top of healthcare providers’ minds as a leader in healthcare IT.”
