Tom’s Urban L.A. Live Revamps Menu
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tom’s Urban at L.A. Live has remodeled its menu to include new items and tell the story behind its innovative origins, starting with Tom himself. The world-traveling founder, Tom Ryan, traversed the globe to build a diverse menu with a variety of cultural influences without the pretention.
“It’s not just a place to experience great food, it’s a place to have an experience,” said Founder Tom Ryan. “Located in the heart of downtown, the vitality of the city truly carries into the energy of Tom’s Urban.”
‘The Menu of Urban Legend’ pairs each menu item with a fun tidbit or backstory alongside every TV displaying sports, music videos or TomTV – guest-curated social content. The soon-to-be-famous “Beat the Clock” happy hour features bites and booze that change prices every hour. The fan favorite, ‘WTF Menu’ (What’s That Food, obviously), includes Fried Frog Legs and (the not for the weak of heart) Ghost Pepper Wings.
Some of the new items on the menu include:
· Crispy Chicken & Cornbread Pancake
· Pork Belly Banh Mi Lettuce Cups
· Vindaloo Chicken Street Tacos
· Campfire Brownie + Cookie + S’mores
The Tom’s Urban menu also features Small Plates, Burgers, Food Truck Sandwiches, Urban Street Tacos, Damn Good Pizzas and more. Pair each of these items with more than 20 craft and American brews or fill up the barely chuggable Tom’s 40oz Big $$ Beer with any selection on draft. In addition to the restaurant’s variety of cocktails, Big Punchbowls are popular amongst groups where the new Booze Cruise features a flight of four house-crafted different cocktails.
“Our new menu better reflects the story of our brand and how Tom’s Urban came to have such an eclectic variety of offerings,” said Paige Cram, Director of Marketing at Tom’s Urban LA Live. “We attract a diverse group of customers at LA Live so it’s important to us that everyone can find something a little unexpected to love on our menu.”
Tom’s Urban stands as the go-to venue for pre-event, during-event and post-events for all L.A. Live guests and neighborhood locals. With two-level seating and a bustling environment for all ages, Tom’s Urban provides the perfect place to Drink. Eat. Screen.
Tom’s Urban is located at LA Live at 1011 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
