Coppersmith’s First Annual ’Cue n’ Claw Father’s Day Event

Coppersmith Celebrates Father’s Day with BBQ, Traditional Crab Boil, Music, Libations and Kids Eat Free


(BOSTON, MA) [June 7, 2017] - Coppersmith, South Boston’s favorite restaurant and event venue is celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday, June 18th, 2017 with its first annual ’Cue n’ Claw event from 11:00AM – 3:00PM. While listening to music, guests can enjoy the talents of Executive Chef Jason Heard and his team as they fill the smoker with racks on racks of baby back ribs and fill the pots with nets of claws and shrimp.

Available only on Father’s Day, Coppersmith will offer Dad and families the Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs and Low Country Boil all day long, featuring the “low and slow” style of southern BBQ, Jonah Crab claws, shrimp, Andouille sausage and corn ($26). Accompany the meal with cocktails such as the Cherry Smash featuring Bulleit Bourbon, fresh cherries and mint, bitters, lemon juice, soda water and ginger simple syrup ($12) and Bulleit Kentucky Buck with Bulleit Bourbon, lemon juice, strawberries, Angostura bitters and topped with ginger beer ($12).

Further adding to the celebration, parents will be elated to hear that this Father’s Day kids eat free at Coppersmith! Children aged 10 and under can indulge in their own Father’s Day menu featuring Kid’s Mac N Cheese, Chicken Strips or a Kid’s Sized Burger at no charge!

Coppersmith is a dynamic venue with multiple spaces serving globally-influenced sharable plates from Executive Chef Jason Heard in a vintage-industrial warehouse. Located on the border of the South Boston, Fort Point and Seaport neighborhoods, the building was constructed in 1894 as the home to a copper fabricator and has since been refurbished to retain aesthetic elements including reclaimed steel, restored brick and exposed timbers.
Coppersmith serves lunch, dinner and bar service seven days a week as well as brunch service on weekends.
