FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Croatia’s award-winning DMC and small ship cruise company, Katarina Line, will be joining industry professionals that include travel agent and tour operators in a panel discussion that will explore the state of travel to Europe at Miami’s Travel Agent Forum, October 2 – 4. The panel, titled, “European Delights: Mastering Your European Sales,” will help to educate audiences on the rich pallet of opportunities offered by the destination. It will cover topics that include new trends, niche cruise products, and other offerings that are attracting visitors to Europe in record numbers. This session will take place on Monday, October 2nd from 1:00 – 2:15 pm.
In addition to providing their unique insight into Croatia, Katarina Line will also be meeting with agents to discuss the company’s diverse portfolio of in-land tours and small ship cruises, explore partnership opportunities, and discuss commissions and FAMs. The company will schedule meetings during the event as well as before and after the trade show. Katarina representatives can also visit agents' office for a private presentation and to train its staff.
“More than 98% of our bookings come from travel agents, so we are very motivated to partner with them and offer generous incentives,” said Daniel Hauptfeld, marketing director for Katarina Line.
The Travel Agent Forum features round-table discussions, educational seminars, workshops, and accredited training. It provides a unique opportunity for travel professionals to drive their business, sharpen their selling skill, broaden their marketing capabilities, and expand their knowledge to become more efficient and effective in a highly competitive market.
“Europe offers an abundance of vacation options and experiences to satisfy any traveler type, while simultaneously providing travel agents a full cache of sellable vacation experiences,” said Jim Cloonan, President, Travel Show Marketing Group, parent company of the Travel Agent Forum. “Beyond this, there is true demand for all that this spectacular continent has to offer!”
“Croatia tourism is booming, with more and more American and Canadian travelers discovering its great natural beauty and stunning coastlines. No single visit is ever enough, so repeat visitors represent a sizeable portion of our success,” said Hauptfeld.
